Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a strong back-end developer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop & maintain software applications under the guidance of Senior Engineers (i.e. writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code)
2. Write unit & integration tests to ensure the quality & stability of the codebase
3. Participate in code reviews to learn from Senior Engineers and ensure code quality
1. Assist in design & implementation of new features and functionality
4. Troubleshoot & debug software issues
1. Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends
6. Collaborate effectively with Engineering team members & other teams
7. Contribute to Engineering team's knowledge base & documentation

Job Requirements

Who we are looking for:

1. Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. 1 year experience in software development
1. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
3. Familiarity with Javascript / TypeScript / NodeJS
4. Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
5. Good problem-solving skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Eagerness to:
1. Learn & contribute to a team
2. Learn & grow as a software engineer
8. Plus points:
1. Experience working with cloud hosting (GCP/AWS) 
2. Highly interested in Fintech industry
