Part-Time Retail Associate – GABRIEL Malaysia

Location: Sunway Pyramid, Selangor

Employment Type: Part-Time

Salary: RM11 per hour + sales incentives

GABRIEL is one of China's leading premium plush toy and lifestyle brand known for its distinctive designs, high-quality materials and emotionally engaging products. As we launch our first retail store in Malaysia, we are looking for friendly and energetic Part-Time Retail Associates to join our founding team.

Key Responsibilities

● Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

● Recommend suitable GABRIEL products based on customers’ needs and preferences.

● Develop good product knowledge and communicate product features and collections to customers.

● Support the team in achieving store sales targets.

● Assist with upselling and cross-selling in a natural, customer-focused manner.

● Operate the POS system and process customer payments accurately.

● Assist with stock replenishment, receiving and inventory counts.

● Maintain attractive product displays according to GABRIEL’s visual merchandising standards.

● Keep the store clean, organised and presentable.

● Assist with product launches, promotions, events and peak shopping periods.

● Work closely with the Retail Supervisor and full-time Retail Associates to ensure smooth store operations.

Job Requirements

● Previous retail, sales or customer service experience is an advantage but not required.

● Students and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

● Friendly, approachable and confident when interacting with customers.

● Good communication and interpersonal skills.

● Positive, responsible and proactive attitude.

● Well-groomed with a professional appearance.

● Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

● Reliable and punctual.

● Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods.

● Able to commit approximately 12–20 hours per week.

● Interest in plush toys, collectibles, lifestyle products or character brands is an advantage.
