Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and management of hardware equipment for events, internal company needs, and client sites. This role involves travel, hands-on technical work, and effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Event Hardware Setup:

• Lead the setup and breakdown of hardware for events, ensuring functionality and compliance with event requirements.
• Conduct pre-event testing to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
• Provide on-site technical support during events to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues promptly.

Internal Hardware Maintenance:

• Maintain and repair internal company hardware, including AV systems, IT equipment, and other technical tools.
• Oversee the hardware inventory system, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment of supplies.

Client Site Hardware Maintenance:

• Perform quarterly maintenance visits to client sites, ensuring all hardware is functioning as expected.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, liaising with clients to provide timely updates.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare reports for internal and client use.

General Duties:

• Stay updated on emerging hardware technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Collaborate with the technical support team to develop and implement best practices for hardware handling and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during hardware installations and operations.

Job Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical knowledge of AV equipment, IT systems, and event-related hardware.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for event setups and client maintenance visits.
