Job Description

 We are seeking a technically skilled Junior Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and ensure the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. The DBA will be responsible for handling database issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting business-critical systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. 

Job Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of working experience and proven work experience as a Jr. DBA.
• Knowledge of database technologies, backup procedures, recovery systems and SQL.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write, optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including Oracle and MS SQL Database.
• Working experience with high availability configurations such as RAC, installation, configuration, administration of ASM and cluster control is advantageous.
• Preferably candidates with strong problem-solving skills, good analytical thinker, organization skills and self-initiative.
• Up to date with trends and developments in database administration.
• Capable of working under pressure.
