Our Founder, Ms. Violet Lim, CA(M), FCCA (UK), BA (HONS) FINANCE, CHARTERED SECRETARY, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the firm. Graduating in 2006 from the University of Tunku Abdul Rahman with a Degree in Commerce (Hons) Accounting, Ms. Violet Lim is a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She has worked with various well-established listed companies and has extensive experience in providing corporate accounting services to diverse businesses.
Founded in May 2020, Violet &amp; Co (NF 2118) is a chartered accounting firm offering a wide range of public practice services to companies incorporated under the Malaysian Companies Act. About Violet & Co

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Assistant Manager, Corporate Secretarial to lead and manage a portfolio of clients while overseeing the full spectrum of corporate secretarial and governance functions. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to advise Boards and senior management on regulatory and governance matters.
<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage and oversee the full range of corporate secretarial functions for a portfolio of clients &nbsp;</li>
<li>Advise clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act and relevant laws &nbsp;</li>
<li>Review and monitor the preparation of board papers, resolutions, minutes, statutory forms, and other corporate documentation &nbsp;</li>
<li>Attend Board and Shareholder meetings as corporate governance adviser and provide professional guidance to Directors and Senior Management &nbsp;</li>
<li>Liaise with regulatory bodies and government authorities on compliance matters and approvals &nbsp;</li>
<li>Guide and supervise junior executives to ensure timely submissions and zero-risk compliance delivery &nbsp;</li>
<li>Maintain and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal controls &nbsp;</li>
<li>Advise clients on corporate restructuring, company strike-off, winding up, internal transactions, and governance matters involving directors and stakeholders &nbsp;</li>
<li>Lead billing processes, fee management, and receivables follow-up &nbsp;</li>
<li>Drive knowledge development within the team and promote intrapreneurship culture &nbsp;</li>
<li>Handle ad-hoc assignments as required &nbsp;</li>
</ul>
