Job Description

As an Accounting Intern, you will assist our finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable processing, invoice and e-invoice preparation, bank and GL reconciliations, expense verification, and month-end close tasks. You’ll help maintain organized digital records, prepare simple schedules for audits/tax, update aging reports, and follow up on outstanding items with vendors and internal stakeholders. You’ll also support data entry and checks in our accounting system (e.g., SQL/AutoCount/Xero/QuickBooks), ensure supporting documents comply with company policies, and contribute to process improvements (templates, checklists) to enhance accuracy and turnaround time 

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data/Statistics, or Engineering (with strong quantitative skills)
   
• Comfortable with Excel (lookups, pivot tables, INDEX-MATCH; bonus: Power Query/Power Pivot)
   
• Clear written & verbal communication in English, Mandarin(Bahasa Malaysia a plus)
   
• Organized, detail-oriented, curious; able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
   
• Right to work in Malaysia and available at least 3 months
