Full-Time Accounts Executive 🌐 Remote

About the Role

Waimin Ltd is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Accounts Executive to oversee daily financial operations.

This position is ideal for candidates who can work independently, take initiative in managing responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in financial processes with minimal supervision.

This is a contract role, renewable based on performance.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Malaysia Time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts and perform daily bookkeeping.
  • Handle accounts payable and process supplier payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
  • Prepare and execute online payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
  • Provide support for finance and administrative functions as required.
  • Manage basic statutory and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with personal expense management and payment processing for the Director and shareholders when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

For Experienced Candidates:

  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar platforms.

For Fresh Graduates:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Keen attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision.
  • Willingness to take ownership of accounting responsibilities with minimal guidance.

āš ļø Important: This position requires candidates to be self-sufficient, proactive, and able to learn independently. Limited formal training will be provided.

General Requirements

  • Proficient in accounting software (preferably Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
  • Organized, dependable, and proactive.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with online banking systems.
  • Ability to communicate in Tagalog is an advantage.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director and shareholders to support financial and administrative matters.
  • Assist with expense management, payment coordination, and day-to-day administrative support for the Director and shareholders when required.
  • Coordinate and support visa-related documentation and administrative processes as needed.
  • Provide general operational and administrative assistance to support business activities.
