About the Role
Waimin Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a hands-on and results-driven AI & Automation Specialist to drive the adoption of AI across our business operations.
This role focuses on applying AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, marketing performance, customer engagement, and decision-making. You will work closely with management to identify opportunities and implement practical, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI-driven solutions for business processes.
- Build automations across marketing, sales, customer service, and reporting workflows.
- Use AI tools (e.g. Grok and similar platforms) for content creation, analysis, and productivity.
- Design and optimise prompt workflows and AI-assisted processes.
- Analyse data to generate customer insights and support forecasting.
- Build dashboards and reporting systems.
- Integrate AI tools with CRM systems and internal workflows.
- Research and test new AI tools and technologies.
- Train internal teams on AI usage and best practices.
- Ensure secure, responsible, and effective use of AI tools.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 3–6years of experience in AI, automation, data analytics, software development, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI workflows
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g. Zapier, Make) or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs or basic scripting (e.g. Python) is a plus.
- Experience with dashboards or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or similar).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Able to translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Good communication and ability to work across teams.
- Hands-on mindset with a focus on execution (not just theory).
Nice to Have
- Experience working in startups or fast-moving environments.
- Exposure to CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Experience testing or implementing new AI tools.
