About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Social Media Manager to manage the social media presence of our diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you will be the bridge between our clients’ business goals and our internal creative team.

You will not just be posting content; you will be managing the entire lifecycle of social media accounts—from planning the strategy and briefing our designers/editors to presenting results to clients. 

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Strategy

  • Develop comprehensive monthly content calendars for clients across Meta, Linkedin and Tik Tok.
  • Brainstorm creative angles and trending concepts that align with the client’s brand voice.
  • Write engaging captions, headlines, and hooks tailored to specific platforms.

Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts regarding social media.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and business objectives.
  • Present content calendars for approval and handle feedback professionally.

Creative Collaboration

  • Create clear, detailed briefs for our designers and video editors.
  • Review creative assets to ensure they meet the client's brand guidelines and quality standards before publishing.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure visual and video content is optimized for specific platforms.

Operations & Publishing

  • Schedule and publish content accurately using social media dashboards.
  • Track performance metrics and create simple monthly reports for clients.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience as a social media executive.
    • Preferred: Experience working in a social media agency or digital agency managing multiple clients simultaneously.
    • Acceptable: Strong background as an in-house social media executive with a track record of growth.
  • Platform: Familiar with the nuances of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must feel comfortable leading a meeting with a client.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple timelines, content calendars, and client feedback loops without missing a deadline.
  • Detail-Oriented: You spot typos and formatting errors before the client does.
  • A Team Player: You know how to give constructive feedback to designers/editors to get the best results.
