Xocks is a fast-growing Malaysian multi-channel sock brand with 600,000+ pairs sold across online and offline channels. We are now aggressively expanding our consignment retail network nationwide — and we're looking for a driven, street-smart Consignment Sales Executive to own this channel end-to-end.
This is a full-cycle field sales role. You won't just be knocking on doors — you will be responsible for the entire consignment journey, from identifying the right stores to making sure Xocks socks are selling off the shelf month after month. You'll be the face of Xocks to our retail partners and the engine behind our brick-and-mortar growth.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will cover the full consignment cycle:
① Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify and build a pipeline of suitable consignment locations — including shoe stores, sneaker boutiques, sports shops, fashion retailers, muslimah apparel stores, lifestyle and grooming shops, and independent mini-markets. You will actively scout locations on foot, via social media, and through your own network.
② Cold Outreach & Appointment Setting Initiate contact with store owners and managers through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, and email. Your goal is to secure a face-to-face meeting and generate genuine interest in carrying Xocks products.
③ Store Visits & Pitching Conduct in-person store visits to present Xocks, explain the consignment model, and demonstrate why stocking Xocks benefits the store owner. You will walk them through product margins, sell-through rates, and zero-upfront-risk advantages.
④ Negotiation & Deal Closing Negotiate consignment terms including product placement, shelf positioning, consignment volume, and payment settlement timelines. Close agreements and ensure paperwork (consignment form, terms & conditions) is properly signed and filed.
⑤ Onboarding & Setup Coordinate the first stock delivery, assist with product display and visual merchandising setup, and ensure the store is equipped with branding materials such as standees, price cards, and hangers.
⑥ Stock Management & Replenishment Monitor stock levels at each outlet, initiate restock requests, coordinate with the operations team for timely deliveries, and ensure slow-moving SKUs are swapped out for better-performing ones.
⑦ Performance Monitoring Track weekly and monthly sell-through rates per outlet. Flag underperforming locations early and work with store owners to improve product placement, promotion, or assortment.
⑧ Partner Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with store owners and staff. Serve as the primary point of contact for all consignment-related queries, issues, and requests. Ensure partner satisfaction and long-term retention.
⑨ Reporting & Pipeline Updates Maintain accurate records of your outlet pipeline, active accounts, stock movement, and revenue performance using our internal tracking system (XCMS). Submit weekly progress reports to management.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, people-oriented, and results-hungry. This role requires someone who thrives in the field, is comfortable building relationships from scratch, and takes full ownership of their targets without needing to be micromanaged.
