Job Description

Accounting Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting operations, data entry, and bookkeeping.
  • Assist in month-end closing, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary when required.
  • Ensure all accounting records and documents are accurate and up to date.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Manage office administration, procurement, and document filing.
  • Handle staff claims, petty cash, and payment processing.
  • Maintain proper inventory of office supplies and equipment.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc administrative or operational tasks.
  • Manage office and property administration, including rental matters and contract renewals.
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and coordinate with tenants and landlords when required.
  • Handle utilities bills (e.g., electricity, water, internet) — ensure timely payments and proper record-keeping.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting, admin, or property coordination.
  • Familiar with Autocount and Excel or equivalent accounting systems.
  • Knowledge of Malaysia’s tax and property-related documentation is an advantage.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Independent, trustworthy, and proactive in managing administrative duties.
