Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Editing Support: Assist with basic video editing tasks, including cutting and assembling footage, syncing audio, applying simple transitions, and maintaining organised editing timelines.
- Footage & File Management: Organise video footage, audio assets, and project files in a structured system to ensure an efficient and smooth post-production workflow.
- Colour & Audio Preparation: Support basic colour correction and audio clean-up, including preparing rough colour grades and sound arrangements under supervision.
- Short-Form Content Creation: Assist in creating short-form videos such as reels, highlight clips, teasers, and behind-the-scenes (BTS) content for social media and marketing use.
- Storyboard & Creative Support: Contribute to brainstorming video concepts, visual direction, and storytelling flow for branding and marketing projects.
- Editing Trend Research: Stay updated on current video editing trends, including transitions, pacing styles, and visual formats commonly used in modern digital branding.
- On-Set Support (If Required): Assist during video shoots by supporting videographers with basic setup, equipment handling, battery management, prop preparation, and BTS footage capture.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Film, Multimedia, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
- Familiarity with basic editing concepts, including cutting, transitions, audio syncing, and simple colour correction.
- Creative mindset with a strong interest in video content and visual storytelling.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback to continuously improve editing skills.
- Good organisational skills to manage files, folders, and project assets efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow creative briefs and guidelines.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly with videographers, designers, and content teams.
- Interest in social media content formats (e.g. Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) is a plus.
- Ability to assist during shoots when required and handle basic production support tasks.
