Job Description

Job Role Summary

  • Responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring adherence to company procedures and required accounting standard, bank errand, maintain well mannered document organization/ filing, monitoring expenses and coordinating administrative functions to maintain smooth administrative operations within the organization

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Financial Management
  • Generate accurate and timely financial reports
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Control and optimize expenses to align with budgetary constraints


2. Accounting

  • Maintain the organization’s bookkeeping and accounting processes
  • Maintain and ensure accurate record of financial transactions
  • Ensure payment and collection processes align with established company processes
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filing processes
  • Manage invoicing processes and oversee account receivable
  • Supervise accounts payable functions and ensure timely payments
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits

3. Administrative

  • Daily administrative operations to ensure smooth office functioning
  • Facilitate smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to support other business operations
  • Coordinate with different departments to facilitate efficient operations
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and initiate purchase of new materials, considering budgetary constraints
  • Monitor cost and expenses to assist in budget preparation
  • Oversee facilities services, including maintenance activities and coordination with trade persons
  • Organize and supervise various office activities
  • Ensure daily operations adhere to established policies and regulations

4. Account and Administrative Support

  • Participate in all activities related to accounts and finance department
  • Responsible for all finance related errands
  • Stay informed about all organizational changes and developments in business, adapting strategies accordingly
  • Implement and execute organization management system procedures

5. Safety Management

  • Assist in maintaining overall office cleanliness
  • Maintain office equipment and work area clean and orderly on a daily basis
  • Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all time

6. Self-Development

  • Stay updated on accounting software or other financial tools
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in finance and administration

Job Requirements

Qualification

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in financial management and administrations or related roles
  • Minimum of 6 years relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Possess keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
  • Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English
