Job Description

Quality Control

• Oversee and coordinate daily QC operations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct inspection using measuring and inspection tool, as well as visual check
• Monitor product fabrication processes to proactively address potential quality issues.
• Ensure measuring equipment and instruments are calibrated and functioning accurately.
• Validate that all products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Implement and enforce quality assurance procedures to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process
• Participate in and support continuous improvement projects within the QC function.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend best practices to enhance product quality.
• Assist in the development and refinement of internal processes and procedures.
• Support quality audits and prepare documentation for compliance verification.

Team Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding the quality of incoming materials.
• Provide training and guidance on quality standards and procedures where necessary. 

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions
• Generate and submit quality reports to management
• Issue and track Corrective Action Reports (CARs) for non-conformances
• Respond to customer complaints with thorough investigation and appropriate resolutions
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective action

Job Requirements

Requirement

• Diploma in Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in quality control preferably in manufacturing and or production environment
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Proficiency in using testing and precision measuring equipment
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools and techniques
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, lean concepts)
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Possess any relevant professional certifications
• Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English
