Job Description

Job Summary

Lead and oversee quality assurance activities, including non-conformance management, part containment, and disposition of discrepant materials through the Material Review Board (MRB) and eNCS system. Drive engineering change reviews, 8D investigations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality incidents and excursions. Champion continuous improvement by following through on corrective actions, participating in risk assessments (HIRADC, FMEA, FMEA, EIA, ROA), and supporting improvement initiatives. Accountable for departmental KPI performance, providing technical guidance and coaching to the team to achieve quality objectives. Responsible for quality planning, resource allocation, functional risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in Non-conformance issue part containment and disposition discussion, and execution during quality incident.
  • Responsible for review and approval of discrepant lot disposition in eNCS. Hold authority to reject in the system if it does not meet release requirements.
  • Lead Material Review Board (MRB) for Part Containment and Disposition.
  • Responsible for Engineering Change Review, 8D Review, and coordination, interface with downstream as required, e.g., excursion-related, packaging feedback.
  • Responsible for following up and following through on committed actions/evaluation lots for improvements.
  • Participate in related risk assessment activities and improvement activities with relevant parties as applicable, e.g., HIRADC, EIA, ROA, FMEA, CI.
  • Accountable for the assigned departmental KPI results and share with relevant parties.
  • Provide technical guidance and coach the team towards the accomplishment of the KPI / objective.
  • Responsible for planning the resources for the quality plan.
  • Assist in ensuring the functional business risk (in the area of assigned responsibility) is adequately identified and mitigated at the best possible level.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of the individual at the workplace.
  • Support any other projects/tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or equivalent.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience in quality management system or Quality related activities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, assertive and ability to work with all levels of employees within the organization.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in computer literacy (E.g., Excel/Word/Power Point).
  • Knowledge/ Trained in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, RBA standards, statistical tools, six sigma methodology, SPC, FMEA, 8D etc. will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights for problem solving.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High adaptability and resilient with reset and growth mindset.
