We are a specialist roofing, cladding, and building envelope contractor delivering projects throughout Malaysia across all sectors of the construction industry.

Our expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing, project management, and installation ensures that we deliver high-quality roofing, cladding, and facade solutions for our clients.

Our team is made up of highly skilled engineers who specialise in Facade Engineering, Aluminum Systems Design, and Custom Systems Design.

The team’s experience helps us to pinpoint the precise requirement and mobilise the necessary resources. As a result, we will be able to manage the project in a professional and effective manner. Plus, our goal is to provide an optimal solution that is entirely matched the specifics of each project.

Architects, developers, general contractors, fabricators, and system suppliers are among our clientele.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team specialising in Aluminium & Glazing works. The candidate will be responsible for managing cost and contract aspects during both the Pre-Contract and Post-Contract stages, ensuring project budgets, timelines, and quality standards are met.

Job Requirements

Pre-Contract Stage

• Review pretender estimates and highlight cost overrun items.
• Responsible for take-off quantities trough drawings & specifications for pre-contract and post contract works.
• Float the inquires to the subcontractors / suppliers & preparation of comparison statements for the finalization & other purposes.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in pricing, budgeting, and contract negotiations.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and internal project teams.

Post-Contract Stage

• To develop accurate cash flow projection, project budget and cost plan.
• Monitor project progress and track actual costs vs. budget.
• Working with the Project Manager to support the implementation of the Project Plan from planning stage to go-live, coordination all available resource the ensure.
• Conduct value engineering and cost comparison on design to deliver coat optimization.
• Monitor payment status on regular basis to track availability of fund with support of finance department.
• Monitor and review VO claim, EOT.
• Process progress claim, final account, third party claims and contractual claims.
• Preparation of financial statement.
• Issue payment certificates and assist in closing accounts
• Monitoring of contractual status - contract period, defects period, CPC, CMGD, etc...
• Provide ongoing cost control, project reporting, and commercial advice
• Coordination of quotation enquiry and finalize award of all minor direct contract works if deemed necessary.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related fields.
• Experienced in external works including facades and cladding would be highly beneficial but no essential. Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar industry.
• Leadership style and interpersonal skills are suitable for directing, training and motivating subordinate.
• Self-motivated, independent, determined to succeed, good leadership and communication skill.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, contracts, and pricing.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work manage time effectively.
• Able to work immediately priority.
