Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce gelato according to approved recipes and SOPs.
• Handle daily production, including mixing, cooking, churning, freezing and packing.
• Ensure consistent product quality, taste, texture and portion sizes.
• Follow production schedules and prepare orders on time.
• Monitor raw materials, finished products and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate batch records, stock records and production documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of kitchen equipment.
• Report production issues promptly and obtain approval before making any recipe changes.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Experience in commercial kitchens, pastry, ice cream or food production preferred.
• Able to follow recipes and measurements accurately.
• Responsible, organised, hardworking and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to learn gelato production.
• Malaysian citizen; position subject to applicable Halal staffing requirements.
• Food Handling Certificate and typhoid vaccination required before starting food-handling duties.
