As a Barista | Service Crew, you will help build welcoming guest experiences from the first greeting to the last cup. You will learn craft coffee basics, daily floor flow and how to keep service smooth while growing practical skills for hospitality roles.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Guest Service & Floor Care

• Welcome and seat guests with a friendly tone and quick attention to needs.
• Take orders accurately and make helpful suggestions based on menu items.
• Manage table turnover and maintain clean, comfortable seating areas throughout service.

Beverage Preparation & Barista Tasks

• Prepare coffee and other drinks following house recipes and service standards.
• Operate grinders, tamp, and monitor coffee extraction to deliver consistent cups.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any faults to the shift lead.
• Prepare basic cold beverages and assist with food plating when required.

Operations & Team Support

• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and assist with simple stock checks.
• Follow opening and closing checklists to keep the cafe ready for service.
• Work closely with colleagues to keep service flow steady during peak periods.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 years experience acceptable; we welcome applicants new to the industry and eager to learn.
• Minimum SPM or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory for the right attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding or willingness to learn coffee making, coffee extraction and coffee grinding techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems and simple cash handling, or ability to pick them up quickly.
• Knowledge of service standards, table clearing, and seating guests to maintain a tidy floor.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Friendly communicator who enjoys interacting with customers and team members.
• Good attention to detail, reliable timekeeping and the ability to follow standard recipes and checklists.
• Calm under pressure, adaptable during busy shifts, and open to feedback for continuous improvement.
