Job Description
The Account Payable Manager provides oversight and leadership to Account Payable operations, including operational effectiveness, business processes, continuous improvement activities, and staff management, coaching and development.
Areas of responsibilities include:
- Process Owner of Account Payable (Invoice Processing / Staff Claim Processing / Payment Processing / Petty Cash Processing).
- Ensure effective AP knowledge documentation via SOP.
- Work with Team Members to identify and implement ongoing improvement of those activities within AP; including possible frontend business process improvement with an impact to finance.
- Manages the performance of direct reports and teams within AP.
- Manages the performance / KPI of department as per Service Level Agreement terms.
- Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
- Stakeholders management and develop Key Control Checklist for AP.
- Internal & External Audits.
