Job Description

 

  • Conduct market research in Malaysia's property rental market to find trends, opportunities, and competitors
  • Develop strategies for entering and expanding the short-term rental market in Malaysia, considering local rules, customer preferences, and property supply
  • Find potential partnerships with property owners, real estate agencies, and others to grow our short-term rental business
  • Approach property owners and real estate agencies to form partnerships and increase our property listings
  • Negotiate and finalize property management agreements on mutually beneficial terms
  • Work with property owners to improve property listings, including pricing, descriptions, and visuals
  • Build strong relationships with existing partners and provide support to ensure their satisfaction
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to meet growth targets
  • Prepare reports and presentations on market insights, partnerships, and performance
  • Share feedback from the Malaysian market with product and marketing teams to improve our offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement new features and initiatives to engage property owners
  • Stay informed about local regulations for short-term rentals and property management
  • Ensure property listings comply with local laws and educate partners on their responsibilities

Job Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel revenue management or related areas
  • Proficiency in computer programs like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of hotel technology and systems
  • Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
  • Well-organized, trustworthy, and able to handle business information with confidence
  • Ability to work with deadlines and pay attention to detail
  • Must have your own laptop and transportation
