Job Description

Purpose of the function:

  • The support consultant supports business partners in the installation, configuration and management of WoodWing applications. As Support Consultant you are part of a team that shares responsibility for ensuring that the business partners and customers are assisted to full satisfaction in working with the products and services from WoodWing.

Job Description:

  • Analyzing and solving technical problems
  • Answering technical questions from partners and customers
  • Accurately administer ticket and time spend information
  • Creating and managing test and support environments
  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of WoodWing products by attending internal training and self-study
  • Maintaining contact with business partners and customers
  • Timely inform Technical Support Manager of tickets that threaten to escalate
  • Actively help to distribute knowledge and information through Knowledge Base
  • Optional; Mentor for interns. The Mentor for interns is a Support Consultant who is also responsible that:
    • the intern performs usable work that benefits both WoodWing and the intern’s work experience at a company.
    • the intern is informed about the work processes that are used at WoodWing and how to use them.
    • working hours are being administered correctly
    • the intern knows the WoodWing rules and Work processes
    • the intern’s learning goals are achieved
    • the intern’s work is done within agreed times even if the intern is not available.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience within the ICT sector.
  • Broad technical knowledge in the ICT field; knowledge of:
    • MS Windows, Linux, MacOS including management and configuration issues
    • Configuration and use of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL and MS SQL.
    • Web application technologies such as PHP and XML.
  • Good command of English language in word and speech.
  • Ability to speak in Mandarin & Cantonese will be advantage due to business need. 
  • Customer and service-oriented attitude.
