Job Description

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and collaborators.
  • Develop strategies for networking and partnership-building activities.
  • Manage collaborations with major vendors like NLB and others to promote at least 10 key products.
  • Travel to Malaysia as and when required to support collaborations and partnership activities.
  • Liaise with government bodies, banks, and related vendors for business purposes.

2. Administrative & financial Responsibilities (Training will be provided)

  • Oversee licensing, certifications, and compliance renewals.
  • Handle business registration procedures, including GST registration and compliance with Singapore’s business laws.
  • Manage and maintain administrative, financial, and legal documentation.
  • Perform administrative and accounts-related tasks for business collaborators.
  • Support fieldwork related to collaborations and operational activities.

4. Vendor & Inventory Management

  • Source and onboard vendors for Wordsmith products, including Edupicks vendors.
  • Maintain inventory records, ensuring stock levels are monitored and replenished.
  • Manage POS systems to ensure seamless transactions and reporting

5. Design & Technical Skills

  • Create visually appealing designs and presentations using Canva.
  • Analyze and manage data using Excel, including advanced formulas and reporting.

Job Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounts or a related field.
  • Proficiency in spoken Tamil and Mandarin is mandatory to speak to the clients / customers
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales, PR, administrative work, and business operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore's business laws, GST registration, and compliance processes.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software. (Plus point)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
