Wilhelmsen Global Business Services (GBS) is looking for a Microsoft 365 Specialist

The Microsoft Specialist 365 Specialist will be tasked with delivering a professional global IT service as part of GBS Tech IT User Experience, focusing on Microsoft 365 applications, user support and system optimization. Reporting to the Digital Workspace Manager. This position is part of a global shared service organization and will collaborate with all Tech teams.

What you will work on:

• Providing expert support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• Collaborating closely with other managers in the IT User Experience team to cater to the needs of customers, including joint ventures.

• Conducting training sessions and creating documentation to enhance user proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.

• Proactively managing the lifecycle of Microsoft 365 applications, following GBS Tech guidelines.

• Ensuring all incidents, requests, and other tickets related to Microsoft 365 are registered in ServiceNow and handled according to GBS Tech processes and SLAs.

• Supporting or managing projects related to Microsoft 365 and related resources.

• Planning, evaluating, and advising customers on efficiency and cost-effectiveness related to Microsoft 365 services within the team's area of responsibility.

• Advising on Tech investment budgets related to Microsoft 365.

• Providing accurate reporting related to Microsoft 365 operations.

• Acting within the corporate governance policy.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent written and spoken English skills and ability to understand & convey complex IT scenarios

• University level degree in IT or Business Administration or relevant industry experience

• Documented result achievement and ability to deliver

• Competency in Microsoft 365 technologies, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification or higher preferred

• Service minded attitude and ability to communicate with all levels within the business

• ITSM knowledge (ITIL Foundation or similar)

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features

• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and configuration

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 migration and deployment strategies

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft 365

• Understanding of network protocols and services related to Microsoft 365

• Experience with integrating Microsoft 365 with other enterprise applications
