 About Wu Song Capital

Wu Song Capital is a private investment office investing in and partnering with businesses across Asia. We focus on direct opportunities in real estate, healthcare, agriculture and traditional businesses. Our approach is hands-on, relationship-driven, and execution-focused. As an intern, you will work directly with the founder on live origination efforts.

The Role: Deal Sourcing & Origination Intern

This is primarily a deal sourcing role. Your core responsibility is to originate investment opportunities. You will identify target companies, initiate first contact with business owners, and set up meetings for potential transactions. This is a hunter role that requires persistence, resourcefulness, and commercial instinct. You will not be sitting behind spreadsheets all day. You will be in the market, researching, reaching out, following up, and opening doors.

What You Will Do

• Research & Analysis: Study different industries, review business ideas, and find new investment opportunities
• Startup Scouting: Identify promising startups, connect with founders, and build relationships
• Investment Support: Help prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for investment decisions
• Business Exploration: Work remotely from Thailand with possible travel across Asia for business research and networking

Job Requirements

• Highly Resourceful: You know how to find information others cannot. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and figuring things out independently
• Commercially Curious: You are genuinely interested in how businesses make money and how deals are structured
• Persistent and Resilient: You are comfortable with rejection and follow-up. You understand that sourcing is a numbers game requiring discipline
• Strong Communicator: You can write concise, professional outreach emails and speak confidently with business owners
• Independent: You can operate remotely with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables

A finance background is helpful but not required. Prior experience in sales, business development, cold outreach, or entrepreneurship is highly valued.
