Job Description

 We're seeking a passionate, creative and dynamic Video Content Creator to assist our in-house video production team in delivering high-impact videos across digital platforms. We work with a variety of clients, but the majority of our projects are focused on education. That means much of your work will involve creating videos that help students and parents better understand opportunities in higher education and schools. At the same time, you will also get the chance to work on other branded content projects outside of education, keeping the work fresh and diverse.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Content Ideation and Pre-Production

• Develop creative and engaging video concepts for campaigns, in-house content, and sponsored projects, whether it’s promotional, testimonial, educational/informational, or branded storytelling.
• Conduct research on current video trends and audience preferences across different platforms and industries to craft impactful and relatable content ideas.
• Create storyboards, draft scripts, conduct site recce, and plan resources, including talent, locations, and equipment.

1. Video Production

• Act as both behind-the-scenes support and on-screen talent to bring video ideas to life.
• Manage talent on set such as giving pointers and cues while talents are on camera.
• Assist in filming, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and audio quality.
• Suggest creative improvements during shooting or editing, ensuring the final product matches the original vision, while effectively communicating the intended message.
• Manage logistics and ensure smooth execution during shoots.

1. Video Editing and Post-Production
   Edit videos using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools to deliver high-quality content. Proficiency in CapCut is an added advantage

• Review and refine edits to align with the desired storytelling, visual style, and project goals.
• Provide feedback and collaborate with the team to achieve polished final products.

1. Content Trend Analysis and Innovation

• Monitor and analyze video trends on platforms like XiaoHongShu, Douyin, TikTok, and Instagram.
• Propose fresh content ideas inspired by current trends and audience preferences.

1. Project Coordination

• Manage schedules, logistics, and communications to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Keep track of concurrent projects
• Maintain video production equipment to ensure readiness and in good condition.

Job Requirements

•     Comfortable and enthusiastic about being on-screen talent, with a natural presence in front of the camera.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills
• Strong portfolio (in particular, video and branded content)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools as well as CapCut.
• Strong creative vision with an ability to produce original content ideas
• Keen awareness of social media trends and best practices both locally and internationally (with a focus on markets such as China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Middle East), and bring that knowledge into your work.
• Must be fluent in English, Mandarin speaking will be an added advantage
