Yaki Soul is a modern Japanese izakaya located in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, and proudly Malaysia’s first sand-grill izakaya. Inspired by Japan’s vibrant street dining culture, we offer an energetic and immersive dining experience that blends bold flavours with warm hospitality. Our menu features a wide selection of Japanese street-style grilled dishes, fresh sashimi, handcrafted highball cocktails, and an extensive range of sake and whiskey. We are especially known for our signature sand-grilled fish, prepared using traditional Japanese techniques to lock in texture, moisture, and deep flavour — a delicacy rarely found outside Japan.

We started Yaki Soul with one simple idea: to bring the soul of Japanese izakaya dining to KL — casual, expressive, full of energy and made for sharing.
