Job Description
- Pre-Contract Stage
- Assist in preparation of cost estimates and feasibility studies
- Support in measurement and preparation of Bills of Quantities (if applicable)
- Assist in tender documentation and compilation
- Prepare cost comparison reports under supervision
2. Post-Contract Stage
- Assist in valuation of progress claims from sub-contractors
- Check variation order submissions and supporting documents
- Assist in preparation of cost reports and budget tracking
- Support final account documentation and verification
3. Contract Administration Support
- Assist in maintaining contract records
- Track variation orders and cost implications
- Prepare meeting minutes related to cost matters
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project team
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain proper filing and cost records
- Update cost tracking spreadsheets
- Assist in preparing management reports
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and site operations
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of measurement standards and QS software is an advantage
- Willingness to work on-site when required
- Strong attention to detail, numerical skills, and a positive learning attitude
