Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA 1994 and other relevant local legislation.
  • Conduct regular HSEQ audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Provide HSEQ training and awareness programs to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Monitor and analyze HSEQ performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international HSEQ regulations and best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact for all HSEQ-related matters and provide guidance and support to employees and management.

  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSEQ roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of ACT 514 and other relevant local legislation.
  • Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book issued by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia.
  • Familiar with ISO standards i.e., ISO 90001 Quality Management, ISO 14000 Environmental & ISO 45001 OSH Management System.
