Junior Chinese Chef (Vegetarian Cuisine)

Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,800 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Junior Chinese Chef to join our vegetarian kitchen team. You will assist in preparing and cooking Chinese vegetarian dishes (primarily Nasi Lemak and Wanton Noodles) while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking Chinese vegetarian dishes.

Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen.

Assist with stock receiving, storage, and inventory control.

Practice proper food handling and FIFO stock rotation.

Support the kitchen team during daily operations and peak periods.

Learn and develop skills across different kitchen stations.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques (can operate wokhey station)

Experience in vegetarian cuisine is an advantage.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Barista cum Assistant Supervisor

Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,800 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Barista cum Assistant Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Chinese Speaking café. This role combines beverage preparation, customer service, and assisting the Outlet Supervisor in ensuring smooth and efficient outlet operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve Oatmilk & Soymilk coffee, beverages, and hot kitchen items according to company standards.

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.

Assist in supervising daily outlet operations and staff performance.

Support the training and onboarding of new team members.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.

Assist with cash handling, Xilnex POS transactions, and daily closing procedures.

Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.

Report directly with Operations Manager, mentorship available for keen individuals.

Support the outlet in achieving sales and operational targets.

Take charge of outlet operations when stakeholders are unavailable.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in café, F&B, or retail operations.

Basic barista and beverage preparation skills.

Leadership experience is an advantage but not required.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
