3D Artist Interns Wanted

Join Youniverse Games Sdn. Bhd., the creative force behind Yooca, a fast-growing metaverse platform where imagination meets technology. We're looking for 3D Artist Interns who are passionate about crafting immersive and realistic 3D environments and assets.

💡 What You'll Be Working On:

• Collaborating with our talented 3D art team to design high-quality assets with a realistic art style.
• Creating interactive environments and props for brands like Pizza Hut, TGIF, Tune Talk, Paris Baguette, and more—all onboarded into our metaverse.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions for new immersive experiences and virtual storefronts.
• Learning industry pipelines using tools such as Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, Unity, and others. 

🔧 What We’re Looking For:

• A strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, texturing, and/or environmental art.
• Experience with or willingness to learn industry tools (e.g. Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance).
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating immersive, realistic virtual experiences.
• Team players with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Job Requirements

 🛠️ Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in 3D Animation, Game Art, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one 3D modeling tool (e.g. Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush).
• Basic knowledge of texturing tools such as Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar.
• Ability to create clean, optimized assets with proper UVs and textures.
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and texturing skills (realistic style preferred).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our existing workflows and pipelines (Unity experience is a plus) 
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. 

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Unity
• Familiarity with lighting, rendering, or basic animation.
• Knowledge of PBR workflows and baking techniques.
• Understanding of asset optimization for real-time environments.

• Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual detail.
