Intern Interior Designer

We are a founder-led, fast-growing interior & renovation company building a scalable design and project system for long-term expansion.

This role is for designers who understand that good design is not just about aesthetics — it is about creating practical, buildable spaces that work in the real world.

Responsibilities

• Develop space planning, layout plans, and interior design concepts
• Prepare design drawings and visual presentations for projects
• Select suitable materials, finishes, furniture, and colour schemes
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Attend site visits when required to assess site conditions and coordinate project matters with customers
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on design-related requirements
• Review site progress to ensure work aligns with approved designs
• Identify design or site issues and propose practical solutions
• Support project handover and ensure design quality is maintained

• Able to translate design concepts into practical and buildable solutions
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to attend site visits when required
• Own transport
• Able to work independently and within a structured team environment
