Job Title: Logistics Operations Specialist
Location: Penang, Malaysia

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the full-cycle import/export operations, including space booking, B/L verification, customs document preparation, and system data entry, ensuring zero errors at every step.
2. Precisely track shipment status in line with the client's time-critical delivery requirements. Coordinate with the domestic pickup & delivery team and local dispatchers to ensure customs clearance and final delivery within the committed lead time.
3. Handle daily ad-hoc issues such as flight delays, customs holds, and delivery exceptions. Immediately initiate backup plans and synchronize information with superiors and the China Operations Center.
4. Maintain close communication with local customs brokers, airline ground handlers, and trucking companies to build stable supplier relationships and ensure consistent space and capacity.
5. Prepare and submit daily operational reports, documenting the on-time performance of each shipment and analyzing exception cases.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

1. Diploma or above; major in Logistics Management, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
2. At least 1 year of experience in international freight forwarding or cross-border logistics operations. Familiarity with Malaysian import/export and transshipment procedures is a strong plus.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics operation systems is preferred.
4. Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin are essential for seamless coordination with the HQ team in China.
5. Strong sense of responsibility, acute time-management awareness, ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment, and excellent problem-solving skills.
