At Zen, we offer an internship experience like no other. Your ideas and creations are valued and needed. This is an intensive, hands-on internship where you won't just observe - you'll create. You will have hands-on experience working directly on client needs (not just sideliners) alongside our experienced team members in making clients' visual visions a reality, both digital and printing. This role is the foundation for a full-time design career.

Creative & Conceptualization:

• Study design briefs and determine project requirements from the client and manager.
• Help conceptualize and pitch new visuals based on requirements, supporting the establishment of creative direction and clear brand guidelines.
• Actively participate in brainstorming to generate innovative design solutions for client campaigns

Design Execution & Production:

• Work alongside copywriters to design high-quality materials for print and digital collateral.
• Ensure all final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and ready for various platforms.
• Perform essential production tasks, including retouching and manipulation of images, and preparing final files correctly for vendors.

Project Management & Ownership:

• Learn to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively within project specifications and budget restrictions.
• Actively incorporate constructive feedback and perform necessary design amendments to ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.

Job Requirements

 We are seeking a self-starter with a passion for creative growth and an ability to work collaboratively in a supportive setting.

• Design Potential: A strong portfolio demonstrating your creative skill and a solid grasp of fundamental design principles (layout, typography, color theory) is mandatory.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, are required).
• Curiosity: A passion for learning and growing in the design and marketing field, with an enthusiastic understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
• Experience: Prior hands-on experience with content creation (even personal or school projects) is a definite plus.
• Work Ethic: Comfortable multitasking and maintaining organization in a deadline-driven environment.
• Communication: Demonstrated creative and communication skills—you can clearly articulate your design choices and listen actively to instruction.
