Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Undertake role in testing for Software and Service Desk Applications.
• Play part in the 'in-house’ development team of this established & successful software company which uses the latest technologies to build responsive web based software / applications to be predominantly used by external clients.
• Functional Software testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing and Live Environment Testing. 
• Creating Automated Test Scripts and Use Cases from user analysis sessions and project documentation.
• Reporting to senior stakeholders on progress against plan, actions and issues.
• Suggesting and implementing new approaches to software testing - backing up recommendations with a clear business case

Job Requirements

Requirement: 

•  Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
• Experience with manual testing techniques and ability to write test cases and documentation is added advantage
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Appium)
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail
• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to query databases to verify data integrity
• Understanding of API testing and experience using tools like Postman
• Knowledge of mobile testing for iOS and Android apps
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
