Job Description

We're looking for a highly motivated and creative Research Analyst Intern to help us create engaging YouTube videos and blog articles on economics and finance. You'll gain hands-on experience planning, researching, and writing compelling content that breaks down the latest economic and financial topics for our Malaysian audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research: Stay up to date with the latest Malaysian and global market trends, financial news, policy development and economic events.
• Ensure Accuracy: Conduct thorough research, interviews (if necessary), and meticulous fact-checking to guarantee content accuracy. 
• Content Development: Assist in outlining and drafting scripts for YouTube videos, translating complex financial and economic concepts into clear, digestible language for a general audience.
• Production Support: Collaborate with the team in brainstorming sessions, assist during video shoots, and contribute to discussions on SEO optimization for video descriptions and social media content.
• Develop engaging blog content: Write clear, concise, and informative blog posts on various finance and economic topics.

Job Requirements

• Education: Must possess or currently be pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Investment, Economics, or a related field.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Work Ethic & Collaboration: We’re looking for someone with an independent work ethic and strong time management skill. Effective collaboration, including proactive idea sharing and receptiveness to feedback, is also crucial.
• Analytical & Data Gathering Skills: Possess strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial information and robust data gathering skills to source reliable information from diverse outlets (e.g., government reports, industry publications, news aggregators).
• Commitment: Able to commit for at least three (3) to six (6) months.
