Job Description

PURPOSE

Under only general supervision, responsible for various duties within sales and distribution. Supports the sales force by providing information and analysis that help drive the delivery of Zurich products and services to customers and distributors

 

NATURE OF WORK

Key Accountabilities

  • Independently researches and business development opportunities.
  • Utilizes industry knowledge and expertise to Implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Consultation to field sales personnel.
  • Uses industry knowledge and respond to inquires and-or distributors, provide clear resolves various issues as they arise.
  • Resolve operational customer-distributor (or other partner) management activities (e.g. remuneration, sales initiatives, event management, cross-selling), ensuring an efficient and high-quality service is extended to all internal and external customers.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement by monitoring business processes and keeping abreast of industry developments.
  • Participates on assigned project teams.
  • Analyzes competing process methodologies and efficiencies in order to contributes to process improvement.
  • Develops customer or distributor reports to help preparations for key tenders-meetings, including commentary and an analysis of trends to facilitate decision-making where required.

 

Performance Management Accountabilities

  • Demonstrate commitment to corporate values.

  • Monthly monitoring and report on Agency Production Report
  • GI Agency Monthly Production Report
  • ISM Analysis - Market Share
  • ISM Analysis - Fire/ Motor
  • Quarterly Business Review reports / presentation slides
  • Assist in yearly GWP Forecast for GI Agency
  • Assist in yearly GWP Budget breakdown into branches and LoB
  • Monthly monitoring of selected agents
  • Daily Branch Reports to Branches
  • Motor Profitability Analysis: Loss Ratio/ Windscreen/ Z-Rider
  • Private Car with Attachment Report and Analysis
  • Agent Profitability Analysis - by Motor and Non Motor Loss Ratio
  • Agent Segmentation Slides and Analysis
  • Monitoring Fire Growth Report by Branches
  • Monthly ZT production by ZI agents
