Job Description

Job Summary

 

Delivers routine actuarial tasks and recommendations requiring minimal direct supervision, and performs more complex actuarial analyses under the supervision of more senior actuaries, in relation to reserving, reporting, quantitative risk management or the pricing of business.

Job Functions

 

  • Responsible to support the design and setup of Takaful columnar fund reporting in Group Actuarial Central Engine (ACE).

  • Trouble shoot the issue and propose solution to tackle the ACE system limitation.

  • Enhance Prophet and DCS to suit the requirement for columnar reporting in ACE.

  • Work closely with FAR team to get the right data input required for fund reporting in ACE and clarify the requirement of fund reporting.

  • Provide support on the calculation for takaful in ACE.

  • Review the results generated from ACE for reporting to ensure it fulfill the reporting requirement/aligned with BNM/industry/MTA expectation.

  • Design and propose a new SOP for the new process of preparing fund reporting.

  • Document the methodology and limitation or workaround that applied in ACE.

  • Prefer a candidate with 4-5 years of experience in IFRS 17 and takaful reporting.

 

Job Qualifications

 

Required:

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field and 5 or more experience
