Job Summary

Responsible for a team's effectiveness and continuous improvement; a servant leader accountable for helping the team focus on creating value, coaches its members in self-management and cross-functionality, within Agile principles, values and methodologies.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

 

  • Masters various agile frameworks and, therefore, is responsible for assessing and identifying the most appropriate one for each context.
  • By facilitating the methodology, leads the delivery team towards self-organization and continuous improvement to produce an increment of value.
  • Develops the team's maturity throughout projects of large complex delivery.
  • Responsible for removing impediments to the team's progress and creating a protective environment based on openness, commitment, focus, courage and respect.
  • Serves the Product Owner and Manager by helping to define the product goal, roadmap and prioritize the backlog accordingly.

 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Advanced Scrum Master certification (A-CSM, PSM II, or equivalent) is required. SAFe certification is a strong advantage.

 

Preferred:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously across large, complex projects.
