Job Description
Objective
The Procurement / Sourcing Specialist ensures cost-effective, reliable, and high-quality sourcing of ingredients and supplies while managing supplier relationships and mitigating supply chain risks.
Position Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for reliability and quality.
- Negotiate contracts including pricing, payment, and delivery terms.
- Oversee the full supply chain process from suppliers to company operations.
- Monitor market conditions to optimize costs and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage risks of supply disruption or ingredient shortages.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier partnerships.
- Conduct supplier audits and implement performance scorecards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
- Partner with R&D to source new ingredients for product innovation.
- Drive cost-efficiency programs while maintaining quality.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Procurement.
- 4–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably F&B.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Resourceful and solution-oriented.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge of supply chain systems and procurement best practices.
