Job Description
Objective
The R&D Assistant Manager leads new product development initiatives while ensuring quality, compliance, and market alignment. This role manages technical troubleshooting, team supervision, and collaboration across departments for successful product launches.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead new product development from ideation to commercialization.
- Translate consumer insights into innovative F&B products.
- Oversee technical support for troubleshooting, quality issues, and complaints.
- Supervise, mentor, and allocate tasks within the R&D team.
- Collaborate with marketing, procurement, and operations to define requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, shelf-life, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct trials, testing, and product evaluations.
- Maintain product specifications, documentation, and version control.
- Continuously improve existing products based on feedback and market needs.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Technology, or related.
- 3–5 years in product development, preferably beverages/F&B.
- Strong technical knowledge of F&B product development.
- Project management and team leadership skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and food safety regulations
