Job Description

PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE (OF THIS POSITION):  

Outlet development projects across multiple locations within the assigned region. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards. The manager will collaborate with operations, supply chain, marketing, franchise partners, and contractors to drive efficient store launches, renovations, equipment installations, and process-improvement initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project management for new store openings, remodels, equipment rollouts, and operational improvement projects.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, resource plans, and budgets.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with F&B regulatory requirements, safety standards, and brand guidelines.

2. Design Management:

  • Ensure design compliance with local regulations, sustainability standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with design teams to innovate and optimize solutions.

3. Construction Management:

  • Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage procurement, contractor selection, and contract administration.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve issues proactively.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with operations, product, supply chain, marketing, finance, and franchise partners.
  • Communicate project milestones, risks, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with contractors, architects, and equipment suppliers.

5. Financial & Budget Management

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
  • Track expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Drive ROI-based decision-making for capital projects.

6. Risk Management

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Troubleshoot issues that impact timelines, resources, or quality.
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to corporate project governance.

7. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting.
  • Present project performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Ensure all handover materials, as-builts, and warranties are properly archived.

Job Requirements

JOB COMPETENCIES / REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong portfolio of F&B or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) design and build projects.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, RIBA, AIA) is a plus.
  • Proven track record in delivering commercial, retail, hospitality, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and design principles.

Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in design and build project management, with regional/multi-site exposure.
