Position Responsibilities 

Ensure stable, cost-effective, and quality-consistent supply of Matcha ingredients across markets by coordinating forecasting, sourcing support, inventory planning, and supply continuity with the Regional Supply Chain team and country stakeholders.

This role sits within the Matcha category to provide dedicated end-to-end supply chain ownership for Matcha-related ingredients and materials, supporting launches and always-on demand.

1. Oversee end-to-end supply planning for Matcha ingredients and key materials across markets, ensuring availability to support business-as-usual and new launches.
2. Oversee overall Matcha ingredient cost effectiveness and optimisation.
3. Partner with Regional Supply Chain and country teams on forecasting, replenishment planning, and inventory health for Matcha items, including seasonal peaks and campaign-driven demand.
4. Coordinate sourcing and supplier relationship management support for Matcha-related ingredients.
5. Drive launch readiness from a supply perspective by aligning demand plans, supply timelines, and risk mitigation plans with Product/R&D, Marketing, and country stakeholders.
6. Monitor supply performance (fill rate, OOS risk, lead time changes, expiry/wastage exposure) and escalate risks early with clear mitigation actions.
7. Maintain Matcha supply chain documentation (spec alignment notes, supplier changes, MOQ/lead time references, critical item list) and support change control when ingredients/specs are updated.
8. Identify cost and efficiency opportunities (MOQ optimisation, alternative sourcing, freight/lead time improvements) in partnership with Regional Supply Chain.
9. Support quality issue investigations with QA and suppliers, including containment actions and corrective follow-ups.
10. Support regional standardisation where feasible (specs, pack sizes, supplier options) while allowing for market-level requirements.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experiences

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

2–5 years in supply planning, procurement support, or supply chain operations, preferably in F&B/FMCG/retail. Experience handling ingredients with shelf-life constraints is an advantage. Regional/multi-market exposure preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

1. Demand forecasting and inventory planning fundamentals
2. Supplier coordination and lead time/MOQ management
3. Understanding of ingredient supply chains (quality specs, shelf life, storage/handling)
4. Launch planning support (new item readiness, ramp-up planning, risk mitigation)
5. Data-driven planning (Excel/Sheets; ERP experience is a plus)
6. Strong stakeholder coordination across regional and country teams
7. Clear documentation and risk tracking habits
8. Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive
9. Strong ownership of timelines and issue resolution
10. Comfortable working cross-functionally and escalating risks early
11. Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
