Job Description
Position Responsibilities
- Handle and manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger accounting and journal entries.
- Perform month-end closing and account reconciliations.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules and supporting documents.
- Monitor accruals, provisions, and intercompany transactions.
- Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in financial reporting, audit, and tax matters.
- Perform other related ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experiences
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA or ICAEW.
- Candidates with 3 - 4 years of experience in GL are required.
- Experience in AR/AP will be an added advantage.
- Experience in audit will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Retail or FMCG field is preferred, but other fields are also considerable.
- Possess basic knowledge of accounting, financial, and operational principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Independent, self -motivated and detail oriented.
