Opportunity:
We are excited to offer a unique and dynamic opportunity for a talented individual to join us as a Finance Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the operations of our firm, supported by top professionals in their respective fields. You will work closely with senior management in running daily operations of the firm and finetuning related policies and processes, ensuring continued success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage the finance department's operations by overseeing policy creation, budgeting, staff development, and regular evaluations of financial processes to ensure alignment with company objectives.
● Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
● Manage the annual financial audit process by coordinating with external auditors and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
● Maintain and enhance internal control systems, policies, and procedures to protect the company's financial assets and ensure adherence to best practices.
● Champion process improvements and efficiency initiatives by identifying opportunities for streamlining operations, enhancing productivity, and implementing cost-saving measures.
Requirements:
● Strong critical thinking skills, adaptability to dynamic environments, and effective communication within a team-based setting are essential for success in this role.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Audit, demonstrating excellent project management skills.
● Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
● Intellectually curious with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
● Thrives in a startup environment and embraces change and innovation.
● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
● Displays maturity, professionalism, drive, and empathy.
● Experience in blockchain or fund operations is a plus.
