WHO WE ARE

As an internationally active IT specialist, Arvato Systems supports renowned companies in their digital transformation. Around 3,400 employees at over 25 locations worldwide stand for a high level of technical understanding, industry expertise and a clear focus on customer needs. As a team, we develop innovative IT solutions, bring our customers into the cloud, integrate digital processes and take over the operation and support of IT systems. Through our strong strategic partner network with international top players such as AWS, Microsoft, Google or SAP, we continuously strengthen our technological know-how and rely on state-of-the-art technology with and for our customer(s).

Arvato Systems Malaysia has been operating since 2005 and has been one of the key development hubs for its headquarter based in Germany. As a diverse and dynamic organization, we pivot on our agility as a group to provide effective and quality performance whilst emphasizing on work-life balance. As a business that truly values the welfare of our employees, we focus and promote work-life balance through various ways and measures to ensure and upkeep a high level of employee satisfaction throughout their career.

OUR VALUES & CULTURE

We are known for having 2 core values at a Group level which we truly believe in.

The first one would be on Creativity where we provide a home for our talents to promote creative development through continuous innovation and improvement, guide by customer needs and interests. The second core values would be on Entrepreneurship where we enable our employees to act with flexibility, responsibility, efficiency, coupled with entrepreneurial freedom.

To keep up with the business growth as we continue to evolve, we ran surveys and workshops to gather Arvatorian's input on realigning our core values. Through this meaningful activity, we were able to localised 6 applicable core values for our Malaysian team:

Therefore, who we bring in and how we involve and engaged them, accompanied by purposeful work scope, development opportunities and contributions beyond the normal work scope remains the key focus for success. The overall experience for our people matters, and we have witnessed it!

The core factor to sustain the above initiatives that sets out the desired culture for Arvato Systems Malaysia is in upholding a high degree of trust throughout the company, whether it is between peers, or between the employees and the supervisors. Thus, Arvato set about building a culture of trust that emphasizes work outcome rather than the number of hours one spends in the office.

The Management collectively agrees that in ensuring successful implementation of this initiative that will bring alive both the values of Entrepreneurship and Creativity, we focus on the following:
