• A Humble Beginning
  Pantech Corporation Sdn Bhd initially started business as a partnership in 1987 under the name Pantech Hardware and Machinery Trading(PHMT), supplying industrial hardware and machinery in the southern region of Peninsular Malaysia. On 29 November 1988, the partnership was converted to a private limited company.
• Riding the Fast Wave
  The Early 1990s saw the industrial sector at Pasir Gudang fast growing into a major hub for petrochemical, chemical, oleochemical. palm oil refining and marine, onshore and offshore, heavy engineering and fabrication service industries. Riding on this wave, Pantech grew rapidly supplying pipes, fittings, flanges, valves and other pipe-related components such as gaskets and fasteners.
• Progressing with Time ... Listed on Bursa Malaysia
  On 2nd November 1998, PHMT changed its name to Pantech Corporation Sdn Bhd to better reflect the company's business and its evolution time. Pantech's consistency and reliability in providing quality products and services, earned the recognition by Llyod's Register with the awarding of the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2003. Our hallmark of integrated strength, conscientious attitude and expertise culminated in Pantech being a leading One-Stop Centre for piping products.
  On the auspicious date of 15 February 2007, the company was successfully listed main market of Bursa Malaysia as Pantech Group Holdings Berhad.
• Progressing with Time
  In 2010, the group further enhanced its capability in manufacturing by setting up "PSA" in Pasir Gudang, which is to produce full range of electric fusion welded stainless welded pipes (ASTM A/SA 312) & Butt-weld fitting (ASTM A/SA 403).
  As time progress, the group envision itself to be a reliable global leader in total piping solutions.
