OBJECTIVE:

To support and drive the development of high-impact products for Airda Group’s eCommerce brands by managing supplier coordination, assisting in packaging design, and contributing to the full product lifecycle from concept to improvement. 

This role is essential in empowering the true nature of business, ensuring each product is both purpose driven and customer loved.

This is not your typical desk-bound role. You’ll get the chance to:

✅ Be part of monthly product testing sessions — from skincare to lifestyle goods, you’ll test, review, and influence the final version.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Development & Sourcing:

• Research and liaise with potential suppliers for new product development.
• Evaluate proposals and negotiate pricing, lead time, and quality terms.
• Support the development and improvement of products across multiple categories.
• Ensure all products meet local and export compliance requirements.

Packaging & Design Support:

• Coordinate packaging design development with internal and external designers.
• Review prototypes and assist in finalizing product and packaging specifications.
• Keep up with packaging trends, innovation, and customer usability feedback.
• Ensure packaging aligns with brand identity and functionality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and branding teams to align product goals.
• Assist in planning and conducting monthly product testing sessions.
• Participate in supplier visits and product evaluations.
• Provide support to the Head of Product Development for ongoing projects and initiatives.

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin fluently (essential for supplier communication).
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Willing and able to travel for factory visits and participate in monthly in-house product testing.
• Must have a laptop and strong internet connection to support hybrid working.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dimension, or other relevant packaging or design software.
