Job Description

Accountable for engaging with young children, generally from infancy to approximately eight years of age, within a structured learning environment. The main objective is to support the children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth during their early developmental stage.

Early Childhood Educator Responsibilities

• Engaging Curriculum: Design fun, age-appropriate lessons that develop language, motor skills, social skills, and creativity.
• Positive Classroom: Create a safe, supportive, and interactive learning space while encouraging good behavior and teamwork.
• Individualized Learning: Cater to each child’s unique needs, helping them grow and reach milestones.
• Parent Partnership: Keep parents updated on progress and conduct meetings to strengthen home-school connections.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators and staff to enhance the learning environment.
• Child Development Tracking: Assess and document children's growth using various tools and observations.
• Social & Emotional Growth: Encourage friendships, conflict resolution, and a positive self-image.
• Creative Play & Learning: Use games, music, and hands-on activities to make learning exciting.
• Health & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe space while practicing hygiene and emergency protocols.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with new teaching methods and attend professional development sessions.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

•  Must possess at least Diploma, Professional Certificate in Early Childhood Education/Education/English Language/TESL/Business Studies/Management/Accounting and any other related studies based on the subject to teach
•  At least 1 years of Experience in the related field is required
•  Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, and English
•  Able to speak Mandarin is to an advantage
•  Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and communication skills
•  Strong moral values and discipline
