Job Description

 We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to manage and oversee the company’s accounts payable processes across local, international, and e-commerce-related transactions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments to vendors, proper reconciliation, and effective support of cash flow and financial controls.

Job Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP) Management

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and delivery documents.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to confirm receipt of goods and services prior to payment.
  • Prepare and process payments including cheques, bank transfers, and electronic payment methods.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of AP records for audit and compliance purposes.

International & Local Trade

  • Handle accounts payable for local and overseas vendors, including import- and export-related transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with trade terms (e.g. Incoterms, LC, TT) and contractual payment conditions.
  • Monitor foreign currency payables and liaise with banks on payment status when required.
  • Support documentation related to customs, freight forwarders, and international suppliers.

E-Commerce & Operational Support

  • Process supplier invoices related to e-commerce platforms and digital services (e.g. platform fees, advertising charges, logistics).
  • Monitor and verify platform deductions such as commissions, advertising costs, and service fees.
  • Ensure accurate recording of expenses related to online sales channels.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare AP aging reports and monitor outstanding payables.
  • Assist in month-end closing by reconciling accounts payable balances.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required AP documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Job Requirements

 

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate or minimum 4 year of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (SQL-based systems preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
