Responsibilities:

1.     Alert Handling: Ensure real-time proactive security monitoring, detection, analysis and response to security alerts and incidents across endpoints, network, cloud and applications.
2.     Incident First Responder: Act as the first responder for security incidents by conducting initial triage, investigation and containment, while escalating incidents in accordance with incident response procedures. .
3.     Email Security & Pre-Classifying Email: Develop, manage and optimize email security controls, including pre-classification of emails to detect and prevent phishing, malware, spam and business email compromise (BEC) attacks.
4.     Vulnerability Management, Pentest & Reporting: Assist in vulnerability scanning, assessment, and validation activities. Track remediation progress, verify fixes, and support penetration testing exercises and security reporting
5.     SOC Expert: Configure, tune, and manage SOC tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security platforms to improve detection capabilities, reduce false positives, and enhance overall security posture.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

1.       Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 1–3 years of experience in a SOC, security operations, or IT security role.
2.       Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
3.       Familiarity with EDR/XDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black).
4.       Basic understanding of incident response lifecycle (triage, containment, eradication, recovery).
5.       Experience supporting vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
6.       Exposure to cloud security concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
7.       Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
8.       Awareness of security best practices and basic compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST).
9.       Certifications such as CEH, Microsoft SC-200 or AZ-500, CompTIA Security+, Blue Team Level 1 (BTL 1) or similar are an advantage.
10.    Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to leading and driving the resolution of security risks, including engaging internal teams for support when necessary.
11.    Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
